Welcome to Comprehensible Serbian! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the 7-Day Comprehensible Serbian Challenge (the "Challenge") and your use of our website and related content at comprehensibleserbian.com (the "Site").

By signing up for the Challenge or accessing our learning materials, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not register or access the materials.

  • Description: The Challenge consists of free daily comprehensible input lessons (videos, audio clips, worksheets, and explanatory notes) delivered electronically via email over a 7-day period.

  • Eligibility: You must provide an accurate and valid email address to receive the daily emails.

  • Free Content: The 7-Day Challenge is currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, adapt, or discontinue the Challenge or any part of it at any time without prior notice.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Our Ownership: All materials provided during the Challenge—including but not limited to videos, audio recordings, lesson transcripts, vocabulary lists, worksheets, text, illustrations, graphics, and the Comprehensible Serbian brand—are the exclusive intellectual property of Petar Jovanović and Comprehensible Serbian.

  • Limited Personal License: When you join the Challenge, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access, view, and read the materials solely for your own personal, non-commercial language learning.

  • Restrictions: You agree that you will not:

    • Copy, distribute, broadcast, repost, or publish our lessons, videos, or PDFs on any public platform, file-sharing network, or social media.

    • Resell, rent, sub-license, or commercialize any part of the materials.

    • Create derivative courses, curricula, or products using our proprietary lessons and materials without our express written permission.

4. Educational Disclaimer & Results

  • Educational Nature: The Challenge is designed for informational and educational purposes using comprehensible input methodologies to help you understand and learn Serbian.

  • No Guarantee of Fluency: Language acquisition depends on individual effort, time commitment, background, and practice. While the Challenge is designed to build foundational listening and comprehension skills, we do not guarantee specific proficiency levels, fluency, or exam results.

  • Availability: We strive to ensure smooth, timely delivery of daily emails, but we cannot guarantee that email deliverability, external video links, or website services will always be completely uninterrupted or error-free.

5. User Conduct and Acceptable Use

By enrolling in the Challenge, you agree to:

  • Use the materials only for lawful personal learning purposes.

  • Refrain from sending malicious scripts, viruses, or spam through any contact forms or interactive channels.

  • Treat fellow learners, instructors, and community members with respect in any comment sections, reply emails, or community forums associated with Comprehensible Serbian.

We reserve the right to remove any participant from the email sequence and block access if these conduct standards are violated.

6. Future Offers and Third-Party Services

  • Future Courses: Following or during the 7-day Challenge, you may receive optional invitations to purchase comprehensive, paid courses or join premium Serbian learning programs. Any purchase of separate paid products will be governed by additional terms presented at checkout.

  • External Links: Our daily lessons may link to third-party tools or platforms (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive). We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of those third-party platforms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Comprehensible Serbian and Petar Jovanović shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to, use of, or inability to access the Challenge materials.

  • All content is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

8. Termination and Cancellation

  • You can end your participation in the Challenge at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any daily email.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your email subscription if you breach these Terms or if the Challenge is discontinued.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the competent courts of Belgrade, Serbia, unless mandatory local consumer protection regulations in your country of residence require otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued participation in the Challenge following any revisions signifies your acceptance of the new Terms.
